In 2019, Quentin's journey took him to Kuwait, a pivotal moment that would shape his career path. Here, he experienced firsthand the intricacies of security, working tirelessly during 12-hour shifts, mastering the use of various security equipment like complex metal detectors, and handling difficult situations. This experience ignited a deep-seated motivation to pursue a career in security.

Transition to Civilian Security

Returning from Kuwait, Quentin joined the civilian security sector. He began his journey as an unarmed security officer and, through dedication and learning from seasoned professionals, eventually became an armed guard. During this time, he gained a profound understanding that security encompasses much more than simply being a guard. It involves understanding people, their behaviors, and their needs.

He worked as a Custom Protective Officer, taking on roles in a transit contract, including monitoring train tickets, overseeing bus stations, and patrolling parking decks for trains. One of the most challenging posts for Quentin was the Alpha post at a courthouse. The doors opened at 8 AM, but people often arrived at 7 AM, eager to get things done quickly.
